Star of the Sea School has a running club that operates on Wednesday mornings before school.
The aim of this program is for students to improve their physical fitness through running. There are also the added bonuses of the teamwork practiced through sport, an enhanced wellbeing from physical activity, and time spent with friends and likeminded students. This club also provides students with the opportunity to improve their running technique, learn about proper warm up, stretching and cool downs, and provides a fun way of enhancing fitness and building resilience.
